In the beginning…
Nellie is my Harley Davidson trike. She is named for my mom, who passed several years ago, but is always on my shoulder and in my heart.
As I thought about sharing this experience with her, even if just in my mind, I wondered if other ladies who ride would enjoy talking about riding from a woman’s perspective. I mean, we all know that the Harley Davidson image is largely geared for the male mindset. Even HD clothing for women is generally sized too small, is often too skimpy, and is feminine primarily through the fact that the design has roses printed on the skulls. Not that that’s bad…but could we have some options, please?
As with so many things, it is up to us to say, “screw that,” and make it our own. Please “like” and “follow” me to join this journey! We’ll be talking about rides, ladies’ events, riding clothes and gear, as well as random roadside ruminations. If you have any ideas on topics you would like to hear about, please let me know in the comments. I look forward to hearing from you!
